How ToolsAi Pty Ltd handles personal information — on this website and as a company. Written in plain English, because you should not need a lawyer to read a privacy policy.

The short version
This website is a static site. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. The only personal information we receive through it is what you choose to send us — by email, or by applying to our creator program. We do not sell personal information, and we never will.
Who we are
ToolsAi Pty Ltd (ABN 73 698 152 902) is an independent iOS software company based in Sydney, Australia (“ToolsAi”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the toolsai.app website and our handling of personal information as a company.
Our apps have their own policies, because each app handles different data: the LockIn privacy policy, the InvoiceMe privacy policy, and the (pre-launch) Cloyra privacy policy.
What this website collects
Almost nothing, unless you deliberately hand it to us. Specifically:
- No accounts or logins. The only forms on this site are the waitlist forms on the home page and the application form on our creator program page, and neither creates an account.
- No analytics or tracking. We do not run Google Analytics or any similar tool, and we set no tracking cookies.
- No advertising and no third-party pixels or embeds.
- Hosting logs. Like almost every website, the infrastructure that serves these pages keeps short-lived technical logs — things like IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security and reliability. These logs sit with our hosting provider and are not used by us to identify or profile you.
Email you send us
If you email support@toolsai.app — including to join the LockIn or InvoiceMe waitlist — we receive your email address, your subject line and whatever you write. We use it to reply, and for waitlist emails, to tell you when the app you asked about launches.
We keep waitlist emails until the app launches or you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. To be removed, reply to any email from us or write to support@toolsai.app.
Waitlist signups
If you join a waitlist through a form on the home page, we receive your email address, which app you chose (LockIn, InvoiceMe or both) and which form you used. We use it for one thing: to email you when the app you asked about launches.
Signups are stored in our Supabase database, hosted in Sydney, Australia, and are readable only by us. We keep them until the app launches or you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. To be removed, write to support@toolsai.app.
Creator program applications
If you apply to our creator program, we collect the details you type into that form: your name, email address, country, the app or apps you want to promote, the platform you post on, your handle, a rough audience size and — if you write one — your pitch. Nothing is collected from that page unless you press send.
We use it to decide whether to accept you, to reply either way, and — if you are accepted — to issue your discount code and pay your commission. We do not use it for marketing unrelated to the program, and we do not share it with the other applicants.
Applications are stored in our Supabase database, hosted in Sydney, Australia. They are readable only by us. We keep them while the program runs; ask us and we will delete yours.
If you are accepted and we start paying you, we will need further details to actually send money — payment and tax details, handled by our payment provider. We will ask you for those separately, at that point, and this policy will be updated to describe them before we do.
How we use personal information
We use personal information only to:
- respond to you when you contact us;
- run our app waitlists;
- assess creator applications, and run the creator program for those we accept;
- provide, support and improve our apps and services; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising.
When we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business — the provider that hosts our email, and Supabase, which hosts the database holding waitlist signups and creator applications — and only so they can perform that service for us. Some providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We will disclose information if the law requires us to.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Email we receive is held in a professionally hosted mailbox with access limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small — the best protection is not collecting data in the first place.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@toolsai.app and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Australian privacy law
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where you are located outside Australia, we still apply the same standards described in this policy.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email support@toolsai.app with the subject “Privacy complaint”. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
